Kayla is a Junior this year and about to turn 17....17!! Yikes, Thats all i'll say for now since i'm sure when I post her birthday pictures I will have a mouth full.

Basketball season has started once more...
Kayla made the Varsity team and the girls have had an amazing season
going all the way to the CIF Championships.

My first born daughter turned 16 today. It's hard to explain how
fast this time has gone by. It feels like a month ago we were holding her
in our apt. amazed at how beautiful she was. Her one year birthday when we went to the zoo and she walked for the first time.
Today she is an amazing young woman, bright, loving, athletic, helpful, giving and beautiful
how many 16 year olds can you say that about.
Kayla wanted to share her Sweet Sixteen with her baby sister
and so Kayla and Payton had their birthday party together.
We went to Malibu State Beach and took the girls portraits
The Theme ~ LUAU ~
We worked hard to transform the back yard into a tropical
Paradise. Landscaping, planting and lots of dirt were moved
to prepare for the girls special day.
The party was amazing and we so enjoyed having our loved
ones come and help us celebrate their life...Kayla 16 years
and Payton one year. Life, God blessed our family.

Kayla's First Day as a Sophomore

May 21, 2010 ~ Kayla 15 ~ Freshman ~ Really where did the year go Kayla will be out of school in less than a week. She has made some great friends, found a love for swimming and really is becoming a wonderful young woman.
She is amazing, never had any formal training and at her second swim meet
Kayla swam in three heats and took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
March 31st we had Kayla's Basketball Banquet! she was given the
Most Inspirational award by her coach! What a great season.
Kayla is starting for the JV Basketball team at school, this is a big deal because there are only two freshman and she is a starter!
